As you might expect, sport, music and drama play a very important part in college life. Recently many of our students have gained success in the British Colleges’ Sport Championships, our musicians played at the Purcell Room in London, whilst our actors performed at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle. Other students are involved in the Community Sport Leaders Award, Duke of Edinburgh, rock music, debating, Radio Prior etc.

Our Pursglove Centre contains a sports hall, lecture theatre, media suite and extensive computing facilities. All the facilities in the centre are used by students and members of the community throughout the year.

Many social activities in college are organised by the Student Council which is an elected group of students representing the views and wishes of the student body.
