Apply
Apply early.
Places are confirmed as applications come in. You do not need your final subjects fixed to apply.

The four steps
- Apply online. It takes about ten minutes. You can change your subjects later.
- We come back to you within 10 working days.
- Come and see us. Offer holders are invited to taster sessions and the preview day before September.
- Results day. Bring your results in and we sort your enrolment and your final subject choices.
What if my grades are not what I hoped?
Come in anyway. Whatever your grades, there is a course here for you. We look at everyone individually, and we would rather have the conversation than lose you to a form.
When are the open events?
The full list is on the open events page. The next one is the open evening on Wednesday 14 October 2026, 5pm to 8pm.
Can I try a subject before I choose it?
Yes. Taster sessions run through the year, late afternoon. Pick a subject you are unsure about and try it before you commit. Dates go on this site and out by email to applicants.
What if I need support to study here?
Tell us at application stage. That way support is in place from your first week. See support.
Who do I ask?
Call 01287 280800 or email ppc.enquiries@atomix.ac.uk.
What happens at an open event
You walk round the campus, go into the departments you are interested in, and talk to the people who actually teach the subject. Staff and current students are in every area.
Bring a parent or carer if you want to. Most people do. There is no set route and no talk you have to sit through.
What to ask while you are here
- What do I need to get in to this subject?
- What does a normal week look like?
- How much work is there outside lessons?
- What do people do after this course?
- How would I get here, and what does it cost?
If you cannot make any of the dates
Ring us and we will arrange a look round at a time that works. You will not be the first to ask.
What to bring
Your predicted grades if you have them, and the subjects you are thinking about. Bring a parent or carer if you would like to. Everything else can wait until enrolment.
What happens after you apply
Results day covers collecting your results and what to do if they are not what you expected. Enrolment covers the visit where your place and your final subjects are confirmed.
