EHCPs
EHCPs and preparation for adulthood
Education, health and care plans (EHCPs)
We support students with EHCPs across programmes from Entry Level to Level 3, providing personalised support that promotes independence, achievement and progression. Working closely with students, families and local authorities, we use person-centred planning to help students achieve meaningful outcomes in education, employment, health, independent living and community participation.
Preparation for adulthood (PfA)
Through personalised support and vocational profiling, a dedicated PfA coach helps students with an EHCP develop the skills, confidence and experiences needed to achieve their goals across the four preparation for adulthood pathways: independent living, good health, community inclusion and employment.

Next steps
Careers and progression
Students receive personalised careers guidance and support to progress into employment, supported internships, apprenticeships, further study, training or more independent living. Every student with an EHCP has access to specialist SEND careers guidance to help plan their next steps.
Supported internships
Creating pathways to paid employment for young people with SEND and/or an EHCP through individually matched work placements, specialist job coaching and real-world learning. Supported internships help students develop workplace skills, gain experience and achieve greater independence as they prepare for their future careers.
Working together
Families and our commitment
Working with families
We believe that strong partnerships with parents and carers are essential to student success.
Families are involved throughout the student journey, from transition and enrolment through to reviews and progression planning. Regular events, information sessions and Inclusion Coffee Mornings provide opportunities to meet the team and share experiences.
Our commitment
We are proud of our inclusive culture and our belief that every student can succeed. By combining high expectations with personalised support, we help students develop the confidence, independence and skills needed to thrive in education, employment and adult life.
