How to reach us, and what it costs

The single biggest reason people rule a college out is getting to it. So here is the whole thing.

Students leaving the building through the main entrance

We are in the centre of Guisborough and easy to reach by public transport from across the area. The college runs dedicated bus routes from surrounding towns and villages for 50p per journey. Pick up points may be at any recognised bus stop on the designated route unless otherwise noted. Put your arm out so the driver knows you want to board.

Timings are approximate and will depend on traffic, roadworks, and weather conditions. We recommend arriving at the stop at least 5 minutes before the designated time.

Students can also apply for an Arriva Student Saver Ticket, valid on public transport across the North East during off-peak hours and at weekends. More information at arrivabus.co.uk.

Student parking is in Guisborough’s town car parks, within easy walking distance of the campus. Free motorbike and bicycle parking is available on site.

Times are from the college’s printed bus timetable for October 2026 (PDF) and are approximate, so arrive at the stop at least five minutes before the stated time.

If the fare is still a barrier

There is a transport bursary for students who live outside Guisborough and use the college buses. If your household income is under £30,000 you can get £1 towards every timetabled day. You pay the 50p fare through September and October while the application is processed, then it is reimbursed.
