Positive postcards for 59 Maths, Physics and Geology students

In the two weeks before half term, Ryan Matthewman went around college handing out positive postcards to students in Maths, Physics and Geology. Our Year 13 Further Maths students even had a visit from Angela Stevenson, our Head of Centre.

This round of postcards focused on the key skills needed to succeed at A level. They recognised 59 students for one or more of the following:

  • good results in assessed work
  • improving from their first assessment to the next
  • an exemplary attitude to independent study
  • asking for support or asking questions in lessons to deepen their understanding

A special mention to Oscar, Dylan and Christian, who received awards in both Maths and Physics.

Well done to all our Maths, Physics and Geology students on an excellent start to college life. The team is looking forward to another successful half term.
